ART DECO INDIAN MAIDEN PRINT in Art Deco frame, printing on the print is
not as exact as in larger prints but I think that is because the print

exterior edges of the frame - 3" x 3 3/4", excellent condition

colors), but it is not as nice as other bird plates I have seen; I do not
know my birds - looks like some kind of owls
on this bookplate, printed area is 8 3/4" x 12 1/4", bookplate sheet is
11 x 14 3/4", excellent condition with a bump on the bottom left corner,
some stray marks from the printing process on the picture and margins,

1940's (?, probably
older) CHRIST IN THE GETHSEMANE SEPIA TONE PRINT, on thick
paper and it seem like it is printed like a photograph, published by
TABER PRANG ART CO., 9" x 11", fine ot very good condition with a pressure
indentation (cannot see this in the scan, but it shows in real life) on
the upper left, some uneveness along the top edge from glue (looks like
it was once glued to something - probably a matte) but this is very difficult
to see and does not really detract, and some tiny creases along the edges
that are difficult to see and which would go under the lip of a frame

|
EARLY 1900's
(I WOULD SAY 1900 - 1925) DIGNITY AND IMPUDENCE PRINT BY SIR EDWIN
LANDSEER, featuring a bloodhound and a West Highland Terrier, it is on
a light cardboard backing board (how it was originally published) that
says "From the Print Copyright Photograph Co.,
Detroit" directly
under the print, there is a "No. 4" under that (this is a teaching aid
so I figure it must be the number in the teaching series), the title and
"Landseer" is also on the white backing board, and "published by Owen Publishing
Co, Dansville, N.Y", is also written at the bottom, the whole
sheet is 9 3/4 x 12 3/4", the print is 7" x 9", it comes in a very light
weight folder that has information for elementary school level teaching,
the print is in excellent condition with 2 small nicks out of the left
side of it, the backing board is a bit grubby and has an orange spot on
the right side of it (looks like some kind of adhesive) and the bottom
section of the board is discolored with foxing spots, the corners and edges
are worn, this looks better than it sounds; because of the light cardboard
this item cannot be shipped in a tube and will cost about $5.00 to ship
#HD30953 $14.00...
