GOOD
SHIP ADVENTURE, R. ATKINSON FOX FRAMED PRINT OF SHIP, signed, original
period piece but I am not certain of decade, NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION,
wonderful original hexagon art deco frame in green, gold and brown; 13
1/2 x 17 1/2" outside measurement, original backing board is still in place
but the backing paper is gone, fine condition with some light overall wear
on the frame plus some heavier wear on the bottom left (see photo of frame),
also there is a very small spot of water damage on the very top of the
print (see photo on the left, but this is very difficult to see in reality),
and there is a larger spot of water damage on near the boat (see photo
on the left), neither of the water spots are glaring and you have to look
to see them at first - then, of course, you can usually see them easily
#CI15821 $75.00 as is
NOW $65.00

EARLY
1800's HAND-COLORED ENGRAVING WITH SPANIEL DOG, my scan is not good (fuzzy)
because I scanned it in the frame, 17" x 14" not including the frame, I
think it is a French (but maybe Spanish or Italian) bookplate, above the
man on horseback it says "deriere de Tuilerie", individuals in the engraving
are identified (e.g. the man on the horse is "L'iluftre - Conte de Suiffons",
the guy on the far left is M. le C. de Fiat"), it is on paper
with high rag content, it seems to be drymounted on board, reverse of the
picture has framer's tag that reads "Catalada Fine Arts, Inc.", "Old Military
Engraving", frame is modern black wood in poor condition with no glass,
so you might not want the frame, engraving is in good condition with some
foxing, also
some discoloration (got wet?)
in the top left corner and a very, very slight discoloration on the bottom
left corner (really difficult to see) SP30081

left corner), on heavy textured paper, total print size is 16" x 12", etched
area is 10" x 7 1/2", etched area is in near mint condition with a small
spot of misprint or aging in the background near the mountains, the
whole print has a dark area at the top of the print, some soiling spots
in the margins and some foxing marks (from aging) in the margins

THE
LONE WOLF, 1920's print of wolf overlooking a settlement or town, 9" x
12", rough condition with brownish marks all over the snow -- they are
partly foxing and partly something that got between the print and the glass
(as the frame and glass on this were broken where I got them, they are
not included with the print) #PR30051 $7.50

THE LONE WOLF,
1920's print of wolf overlooking a settlement or town, in beautiful blues,
12" x 16", fair condition with some slight discoloration from age that
is not obvious or very detracting, there is scratching on the print surface,
some small tears around the edges, an area of tears and creases about 3"
long and 1" deep on the top edge (near the right corner), a small creased
area about 2" above the wolf's head, and a longer 3" crease about
2 1/2" above the buildings, till I think it would look good when framed,
maybe better still if trimmed to 11" x 14" but you lose the expanse of
the sky, and you can afford to trim it down even smaller and still have
a nice picture #PR28352 $20.00

IN
THE OAK TREE SHADE, 1903 COLOR PRINT OF HORSES, on board, unframed,
board is 11 x14', print is 7 7/8 x 5 3/4", print is in fine condition with
some tiny shiny spots (probably from glue from the production process),
but I doubt they will show after the print is under glass, the board has
a stain and some damage, there is a small tear on the left side of the
print, most of the defects will disappear under the lip of a frame, even
the tear on the right edge will disappear under thicker lip
