x 5", it doesn't show in the scan but some of the small decoration is metallic
gold, in wooden frame of brown and metallic gold, original backing board

"FRIENDSHIP'S
ROAD:"
Friendship is
a chain of gold,
Shaped in God's
perfect mold,
Each link a smile,
a laugh, a tear,
A grip of the
hand , a word of cheer.
As steadfast
as the ages roll,
Binding closer
soul to soul;
No matter how
far, or heavy to load,
Sweet is the
journey on Friendship's Road."

1932
MOTHER
MOTTO PICTURE, like Marigold, might be Marigold but there is no signature,
bottom left says only " ... cago & N.Y. ... ure frame co.", 7" x 11";
very good to good condition, something was nibbling on this as 3 of the
edges are rough and it really no longer quite fits the frame (it
is very close so there are not glaring gaps), the bottom left corner-edge
area is the worst, there are places where the topmost layer of paper of
the print is gone exposing overly white patches (especially noticeable
on the bottom left), there is overall yellowing and a couple of spots of
foxing (spots from aging - kind of rust colored), the frame is in excellent
condition with very slight wear; even though it has difficulties, this
picture still looks pretty good, I am pricing only slightly more than I
would for the frame alone #MO28251

1930's MY
MOTHER MOTTO IN METAL FRAME w/ METALLIC GOLD BACKGROUND, 5' x 7" including
frame, good condition with some smudging or soiling around the "m" in "My"
in the title and in the cloud on the right side of the picture (these might
be soiling on the inside of the frame, they might be printing process smudges
and they might be permanent soiling, there is light wear to the frame,
the cardboard hanger that was built into the cardboard backing has torn
off so right now there is no way to hang the picture -- people usually
get around this by using the stick 'em type modern hangers as the picture
does not weigh much #MO29902 $14.50

"WELCOME GUEST!"
Hello Guest,
and howdeedoo!
This small room
belongs to you,
And our house
and all that's in it -
Make yourself
at home each minute.
If the temperature
displeases
Take a couple
of our breezes;
And if that should
chill you later -
Sit upon our
radiator.
If a hungry pang
is twitchin'
Make a raid upon
our kitchen -
Help your self
to book or blotter,
Easy chair or
teeter-totter;
All is yours
that you like the best.
You're at home,
now!
Welcome, Guest!"
