THESE PHOTOS WERE INTENDED TO BE ART STUDIES OF NUDES TO PROVIDE STUDENTS
WHO COULD NOT AFFORD TO HIRE LIVE MODELS WITH NUDE SUBJECTS FOR THEIR ART.
THE GENRE WAS QUICKLY TAKEN UP AS A COLLECTIBLE FOR GAY MEN. THE
PHOTOS ARE EVEN MORE A HOT COLLECTIBLE TODAY.

UNCUT Louis is
nicely tanned. The photo has good detail. I think his ring
is a skull and crossbones. Reverse has the number 18-3 in pencil.
EXCELLENT TO
NEAR MINT CONDITION with some wear on the corners, a very tiny dog-ear
on the top left corner and some small spots from the printing process -
nothing that detracts much

This UNCUT model
is particularly cute. The shadow on his leg shows good detail in
the photo. Reverse has the number 40-8 in pencil.
EXCELLENT TO
FINE CONDITION with some wear on the corners and edges, a small crease
on the bottom right corner, some pressure indents (from someone gripping
the photo too tightly?). I think the white spots on the top of the
drapery was actually on the drapery but they could be a problem from the
printing process

chest (this only shows up at certain angles, also a indent line on
the left side of the photo (not a scratch because the finish is not off
the area)
