LATE
1800's ENGRAVING OF 1862 ENGRAVING OF GEORGE MCLELLAN ( General George
McClellan) at CIVIL WAR field office preparing a dispatch with horse, drum,
sword and other accessories, while 1862 is the copyright date I think this
engraving may have been printed in the 1890's (although I really have no
reason to think that other than I really do not know the source of this
print); "Printed by Alonzo Chappal; Johnson, Fry & Co, Publishers,
New York"; printed area is 5 1/2" x 7"; whole page is 8" x 10 3/4", excellent
condition with some stray marks from the printing process, slightly darker
edge around the printed area - I think this might be an impression from
another page #ML29221 $32.00
