and a tear on the top margin (not shown in scan) that goes close to the
rump of the greyhound and cannot be matted or framed out completely

like a white terrier to me, but could be a large bull terrier or a mastiff
type dog, print entitled "Two Gentlemen of Verona", page has light oversheet
with part of the play when Mistress Silvia returns Proteus' present of
the dog with "currish thanks", on heavy white paper, engraving is 5 3/4"
x 7 1/2", page is
8 1/4" x 11 1/4",
near mint condition with a few printing errors on the white margin
