LARGE
WALL HANGING OF IRISH SETTER, ENGLISH SETTER AND COLLIE, probably
from the 1940s, measures 21 1/2" wide and 41" long, 2 layers of material
- The top layer ( a kind of thick crepe) has been made to look like
wood; the picture measures about 19 1/2" x 31", the loose backing material
is a mustard yellow and feels like thin crepe, comes with a wooden hanging
pole but there is nothing to hang the pole with, there is hand stitching
around the dogs' faces and bodies which helps highlight the dogs, there
is a thin strip of dark gold decoration along the bottom, with dark gold
cord loops, no maker's name, excellent condition as I see no damage or
repairs, it probably needs dry cleaning as it has been put away for a number
of years, the yellow backing has a number of white paint splashes, some
loose threads at the hem and a few small pulls to the crepe - nothing
that really detracts #COL27675 $47.00
