donald duck child's dish

LATE 1940'S WALT DISNEY DONALD DUCK CHILD'S WARMING DISH,  CORAL COLORED (NOT PINK, I JUST COULDN'T GET THE COLOR RIGHT IN THE PHOTO)  POTTERY WITH A GLOSS FINISH, HOLLOW SO THAT HE CAN BE FILLED WITH WARM WATER TO KEEP BABY'S FOOD WARM, ABOUT 8 1/4" LONG BY 6 1/2" WIDE, AND 2" DEEP WITHOUT DONALD'S HEAD, THE HEAD, WHICH ACTS AS THE STOPPER FOR THE FILL HOLE, IS 2 1/2" HIGH.  THIS DISH IS NOT MARKED DONALD DUCK OR WALT DISNEY IN ANYPLACE I CAN FIND, YET I AM CERTAIN IT IS DONALD DUCK.  I AM EQUALLY CERTAIN THAT HE WAS MADE BY AN AMERICAN POTTERY COMPANY.  (COULD IT THEN BE IMPLIED THAT HE MUST BE AUTHORIZED?  I DON'T KNOW.) This Donald Duck child's warming dish is in excellent condition.  There are no chips or crazing.  There is a small, light hairline crack on Donald's bill.  While this hairline is definitely there, it really isn't noticeable except upon closer inspection. Also, his cork stopper that goes around a porcelain piece below his head, had deteriorated to the point it wouldn't stay on and got lost.  I understand it is not difficult to drill out a replacement cork. The cork is not necessary. #DSY16044    $65.00

J.  Bergin of Little meadows Pennsylvania (PA), no calendar included, 8 3/4" x 20", print part is 6 x 11 3/4", sorry the whole thing was too long to fit in my scanner so bottom part of calendar is shown separately even though it is still connected, fine condition with some wear on edges and corners including a few small tears on the edges, the light card stock piece that goes over the photo and is supposed to hold the calendar has some bends in it and  there is some discoloration of the fancy metallic gold decoration at the bottom of the page, the print is slightly yellowed (but you can only see that when you lift the overlay piece and see what the unexposed part of the print looks like
