LATE 1950's - EARLY 1960's MADE IN JAPAN TIN FRICTION SPEEDBOAT / CABIN CRUISER, She
measures 6" long and is in excellent working condition, boat body is also in great shape except for a light dent along right side under her name - Gale, paint in great shape with only some minor light nicks    #FA27759    US  $35.00

1950's POTTERY BULLDOG BANK with LOCK AND KEY,  marked "MADE IN JAPAN", about 6 3/4" high, excellent condition    #BD30514    $45.00  ....

.
1960's MOTHER AND PUP SPANIEL OR SETTER HEAD VASE, matte finish,  marked only C8953, probably made by Napco, 5 1/4" H x 4 1/2" L x 4 1/2" D, excellent condition, some stray color under the glaze    SP25758    $30.00

1950's - '60's FIRE EXTINGUISHER DECANTER/MUSIC BOX, wind-up plays "How Dry I Am" when you pick it up, under extinguisher top handle is a plastic lined chrome pour spout, this is not a shaker, 11 7/8" high by 3 1/2" in diameter, metal outer case surrounded with red vinyl (more of a true red than my photo shows), glass interior to hold liquid, red reads "Thirst Extinguisher, Dispense freely for best results, To refill call your host, Approved by underwriters fire chief, Keep available for emergencies" in metallic silver lettering, very good condition, plays well, a couple of light scuffs on the red, some wear on the lettering including the "F" in Freely is missing
part of the letter and the last "L" in Refill is mostly missing;  Plus oddly (although it is not really obvious), there is no space between the "l" and the "y" in "Call Your Host" and     #25411    $22.00

SIMILAR TO ABOVE IN BLACK, looks the same as above except that it is black instead of red, it has a cork stopper instead of a plastic one so I thin it is older, excellent condition with some mild wear on the outside vinyl, no spacing error    #25411   $28.00 ....

.

LARGE POTTERY BASSET FIGURINE, marked "Japan",
7 1/2" high X 8" long, with the original K-mart sticker "$19.97". This sticker has me confused.  Without the sticker, I would have guesstimated the figurine to be from the 1950's or  1960's.  Because the price is so high, it seems it must be from later (maybe 1970's), very good condition, no cracks or chips, but the paint  has worn off (or never was there) in many places on the head and back    #HD25104    $20.00
.
santa nodder

POTTERY SANTA NODDER, I think 1940's, has blue and white "Japan" sticker on the bottom, about 5 1/2" high, very good condition, nods well, base seems to have some discoloration under the glaze and some stray blue, there is some wear on the paint on the blue bag, and his shoulder, there is a glaze miss on Santa's eyebrow which attacks dirt but which can clean up to not be so noticeable (it is dirty in the photo)     #29692     $45.00

1920's BLACK METAL BULLDOG ON  ART DECO METAL BASE, made of a soft white metal, marked "Made in Japan", I am not certain what this is as it has a  small and thin metal hoop on the the point in front of the bulldog, from the collection of David Leavitt  -- founder of the Olde English Bulldogge breed (Leavitt Bulldogs breed), about 4 1/2" long x 2" high, fair to good condition -- there is a slight bending of the base away from the dog figure sitting on top of it, but you really do not notice that  until you look at the bottom of the piece, paint wear on the dog and the bas and the base back, base back also has scratches    #BD30521    #24.00  ....

.

1950's SETTER HEAD DOOR STOP OR SINGLE BOOK END,  setter is brown color,  marked "Made In Japan", filled with sand and stopped with a cork, I am afraid to take the cork out for fear it will break, your choice and your risk though, near mint condition    #SP26961    $18.00
